Who we are
Bail on me is an app for making plans with friends and cancelling them without the guilt. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
What we collect
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address — to identify your account and authenticate you
- Display name — shown to other users in shared events
- Device push notification token — to send you notifications about your events
We do not collect location data, payment information, or any data for advertising purposes. We do not sell your data.
How we use it
We use your information solely to provide the app:
- Authenticate you and maintain your account
- Allow other users in your shared events to see your name
- Send you push notifications about events you are part of
Third-party services
We rely on the following services to run the app. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase (supabase.com/privacy) — database and user authentication
- Expo (expo.dev/privacy) — push notification delivery
Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all your data — including events you created and your participation history — is permanently and immediately deleted.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab inside the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also request deletion by emailing us at support@bailon.ca.
